Flashscore sources: Bayern unfazed by Real Madrid's €150m interest in Olise

Reports emerged this week, after Florentino Perez revealed that he intends to submit a huge offer for a major player next Tuesday, assuming he wins the club's presidential elections.

It has since been uncovered that Olise is the player at the top of Madrid's wishlist, despite Perez previously insisting it was not him.

Performances during Bayern Munich's Champions League quarter-final meetings against Real Madrid are believed to have played a significant role in convincing the Spanish club that he is ready for the very highest level.

Few players have enhanced their reputation more over the past year.

Since arriving from Crystal Palace, Olise has established himself as one of Bayern's most important players, combining elite creativity with a growing influence in the biggest matches. It is, therefore, no surprise that Europe's biggest clubs are taking notice.

However, Bayern's reaction to the speculation has been one of confidence rather than concern.

Sources have told Flashscore that the club's decision-makers regard Olise as unsellable, regardless of the size of any offer that may arrive. Even figures upwards of £150m are not viewed as enough to tempt Bayern into negotiations.

That position is understood to be firmly established internally and mirrors comments made publicly by senior Bayern figures in recent months, when they have insisted Olise would not be available this summer.

The reason is simple in that Bayern are under no pressure to sell and see the France international as a central part of their long-term project.

Just as importantly, there is currently no indication that the player himself is looking to engineer a move.

While Olise remains ambitious and determined to test himself at the highest level, he has enjoyed his time in Munich, and there is no expectation that he would agitate for a transfer.

Real Madrid may be preparing a blockbuster approach, but Bayern's message is clear in that Olise is not going to be on the market.
