The Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport lists several candidates. Thiago Motta, who left Juventus in March 2025 and has not taken charge of any club since, emerges as the frontrunner.
Another option is Sérgio Conceição, currently at Al-Ittihad in Saudi Arabia, who still holds a special place in the hearts of fans. In his first coaching stint in Italy, he led Milan to Supercoppa success.
The shortlist also includes Miroslav Klose from Nürnberg, Raffaele Palladino from Atalanta, and Fabio Pisacane from Cagliari. These diverse profiles will be assessed in the coming days.
