Real Madrid president Perez sparks Haaland move rumours with evasive comment

Even with the forward committing to a lengthy extension at Manchester City through to 2034, whispers of a move to the Santiago Bernabeu keep gaining momentum.

The Norwegian ace has sustained his outstanding performances, bagging 37 goals alongside eight assists across 50 outings this campaign.

Chatting with LaSexta, Perez dodged a straight answer on Haaland queries, opting to highlight his legacy of landing elite Galactico talents at Madrid.

"Well, naturally. Signings have always happened; we have consistently landed the top talents.

"I brought in Figo, Kaka, Ronaldo 'The Phenomenon', Beckham... If someone exceptional comes along, I pursue it," he added.

"Haaland? I wont comment on that. Its down to the sporting directors; I stay out of the football operations."

Upon joining from Borussia Dortmund in 2022, the Norwegian has racked up 161 goals and 29 assists over 196 appearances for City.
