Carlo Ancelotti's son Davide named manager of Ligue 1 club Lille

The 36-year-old, the son of Brazil manager Carlo Ancelotti, will take on his second managerial role following a five-month period as head coach of Brazilian top-tier club Botafogo last year.

"LOSC confirmed today that Davide Ancelotti has been appointed as first-team coach. The 36-year-old Italian, who has experience with major clubs and national teams, has committed to a two-year contract," read the club statement.

Davide commenced his coaching journey in 2016 and has partnered with his father Carlo at Napoli, Bayern Munich, Everton and Real Madrid.

He also currently serves as an assistant coach for five-time world champions Brazil, having joined his father's coaching staff in 2025.
