Strong sought-after Superliga midfielder devotes future to Brondby on long-term contract

Brondby IF have strengthened their midfield with the arrival of Max Ejdum.  The 21-year-old midfielder joins the club from OB, where he has been a key player in recent seasons.

Ejdum has signed a five-year deal with Brondby IF.

Since making his debut for OB’s first team at the age of 17, Max Ejdum has played 67 official matches for the club while also representing various youth national teams. Most recently, he has been part of the Danish Under-21 national team, earning four caps to date.

Football Director Julius Ohnesorge is delighted that Brondby IF has secured the sought-after midfielder, who can contribute from day one while still possessing significant potential for further development.

"We are very pleased to have finalized the deal and signed Max. There was interest in him from a number of foreign clubs, so we are naturally very happy that he chose Brondby IF. It sends a strong signal regarding his belief in the project we are building and the direction the club is heading," says Ohnesorge.

Brondby will kick off their new Danish season on 25 July away against reigning champions AGF
