The Maltese Premier League, also known as the Il-Kampjonat Premjer, is the men's top professional football league in Malta. It was founded in 1909 and is organized by the Malta Football Association (MFA).
The league is contested among 14 teams and operates on a relegation and promotion system with the First Division. As a member of UEFA, clubs from the Maltese Premier League are eligible to qualify for the UEFA Champions League.
