FC Copenhagen secure pivotal Swedish defender from title holders AGF on a four-year deal

FC Copenhagen revealed on Friday evening that they have acquired Swedish defender Felix Beijmo from reigning Danish champions AGF, signing him to a four-year agreement.

Newly appointed manager Bo Svensson expressed his enthusiasm about the addition of the former AGF star, who played a crucial role in securing the championship for the City of Smiles.

"Felix is a remarkably versatile defender capable of performing at a high standard across multiple positions in the defensive line. His exceptional pace and powerful right foot offer us intriguing possibilities, both in defence and during our attacking build-up."

"He is a physically dependable player, known for his tenacity and decisiveness in one-on-one situations. Tactically, he displays outstanding discipline, effectively organising the defence and making astute decisions under pressure. He possesses the winning mentality required at this level," Bo Svensson told FCK's official website.

Felix Beijmo concluded a three-year spell with AGF, opting against renewing his contract in Aarhus.
