PSG forward Desire Doue sidelined for weeks after injury misses Bayern game

On Thursday Paris Saint Germain announced that their promising young striker Desire Doue will be out for several weeks due to an injury picked up during a Ligue 1 match.

The 20 year old will not feature in the Champions League home clash against Bayern Munich next Tuesday nor in the visit from Tottenham to Parc des Princes on 26 November.

Domestically PSG take on Nice this Saturday before facing Lyon the subsequent weekend.

The club noted that an update will follow after the November international break.

Doue was carried off on a stretcher at the 60 minute mark in Wednesdays 1-1 draw away to Lorient where he suffered a muscle tear in his right thigh.

This recent issue for one of the Parisian outfits top performers arrives soon after his comeback from a six week absence triggered by a right calf injury sustained while on international duty with France.

Doue marked his return impressively by netting a brace in the first half of last weeks 7-2 Champions League victory over Bayer Leverkusen.
