Ex-Bundesliga Manager Poised to Succeed Neestrup at Troubled FC Copenhagen

Danish manager Bo Svensson has agreed to a long-term deal with FC Copenhagen, capping nearly a decade of coaching stints in German and Austrian leagues.

Upon retiring from his playing days, the 46 year old Bo Svensson built a reputation as head coach for the Austrian club FC Liefering and Bundesliga sides Mainz 05 and Union Berlin, gaining widespread recognition for his effects on the team and approach to the sport.

We are delighted to bring Bo Svensson back to Copenhagen, states Henrik Mogelmose, Chairman of the Board at Parken Sport & Entertainment.

He understands the significance of wearing the lion emblem and embodying FC Copenhagen, and he brings strong international expertise. He has been highly sought after, so we are thrilled to have secured his services.

Bo Svensson embodies the perfect blend of drive, expertise, and dedication that FC Copenhagen requires, both immediately and over the longer haul. At present, our priority is clinching seventh position and the cup, providing a solid foundation for the upcoming campaign, adds Henrik Mogelmose.
