Bellingham and Foden Return to England Team for World Cup Qualifiers

Jude Bellingham and Phil Foden have been brought back into the England squad by coach Thomas Tuchel for the upcoming World Cup qualifiers against Serbia and Albania on Friday.

The England side, which clinched a spot in next years competition with games still left to play, will finish their Group K commitments with a home fixture versus Serbia at Wembley next Thursday, followed by an away game in Albania just three days after.

Bellingham, the Real Madrid midfielder, missed Tuchels selection for the October fixtures as the 22 year old was recovering from shoulder surgery at that point.

Phil Foden from Manchester City joins the group for the first time since the managers initial gathering back in March.

Alex Scott of Bournemouth stands out as the notable new addition to the 25 player roster, alongside uncapped talents Nico OReilly and Jarell Quansah.

Adam Wharton and Nick Pope make comebacks, whereas Morgan Gibbs White, Ruben Loftus Cheek, Myles Lewis Skelly, James Trafford and Ollie Watkins are no longer included.

Tuchel chose not to bring back midfielder Jack Grealish, currently loaned to Everton from Manchester City, and Trent Alexander Arnold from Real Madrid as right back is also absent.

England confirmed their qualification for the World Cup in Canada, Mexico and the United States last month thanks to a convincing 5 0 win against Latvia in Riga.
