Reports indicate Nathan Ake poised to depart Manchester City with Serie A ambitions

Nathan Aké, aged 31, transferred to Manchester City in 2020 from Bournemouth in a deal worth approximately €45 million. He has appeared 174 times for the team, yet his playing time has reduced markedly this campaign. Aké has begun only five Premier League matches and logged 489 minutes across 15 outings.

With fewer chances on the pitch, Aké appears set to depart the side, reports Dutch publication Voetbal International. The player, who has earned 55 caps for the Netherlands, now targets a switch to Italys Serie A, drawing attention from Milan, Juventus, and Roma for his defensive skills.

PSV, the reigning Dutch league winners, expressed strong interest in acquiring Nathan Aké, although a transfer back to the Eredivisie seems improbable.

Over his six year spell at Manchester City, Aké claimed 11 honours, encompassing four Premier League crowns and a single UEFA Champions League victory.
