Inter Miami of Lionel Messi to inaugurate new Miami arena in April versus Austin

Inter Miami, featuring Lionel Messi, is set to unveil its fresh venue at Miami Freedom Park on April 4 facing Austin, according to the 2026 Major League Soccer calendar released on Thursday.

The upcoming seasons 510 MLS regular matches will commence on February 21, with every side competing in 34 fixtures until wrapping up on November 7, pausing for the World Cup across Mexico, Canada, and the United States from May 25 through July 16.

The league plans its resumption right before the July 19 World Cup showdown.

Thirteen MLS fixtures are lined up for the February 21 launch day, starting with Charlotte versus St. Louis, and the lineup also features Messis Miami heading to Son Heung-mins Los Angeles FC at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum.

During March, Miami will travel to Orlando, DC United, Charlotte, and New York City prior to its initial home outing in Inters brand new 25,000-capacity arena.

The MLS will end its World Cup hiatus with four games on July 16, such as Toronto versus Montreal, Vancouver against Chicago, Kansas City facing St. Louis, and Portland taking on Seattle. July 17 will include Atlanta at Nashville and LAFC versus the Los Angeles Galaxy.

Charlotte is slated to host the MLS All-Star Game on July 29.

Following the regular season finale, MLS will skip a November FIFA slot before kicking off the playoffs.
