World Cup bound Crysencio Summerville 'top target' for Roma and Spurs
Summerville contributed to 10 goals (7 goals, 3 assists) in 34 appearances across all competitions for West Ham, but could not stop the Hammers from being relegated on the final day of the Premier League season.
The 24 year old winger was selected for the upcoming FIFA World Cup by Netherlands manager Ronald Koeman, despite having no senior caps. Koeman chose Summerville over Liverpool's Jeremie Frimpong, describing the West Ham player as "the kind of player you can rely on. He can also play on the right wing, but his work rate is outstanding."
Dutch publication Voetbal International reported on Thursday that Summerville has an opportunity to leave West Ham, with AS Roma and relegation rivals Tottenham Hotspur tracking the soon to be Dutch international. Major Italian newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport stated that Roma have Summerville at the top of their summer wishlist, a claim backed by sources speaking to Voetbal International.
West Ham have told Roma what they want for the player, and the Italian club are prepared to meet those demands.
Both teams were reportedly interested in Summerville during the previous January transfer window.
Summerville moved to West Ham from Leeds United in 2024 for approximately 29 million euros. The winger's contract with the Hammers runs until 2029.
