Still, who has never played at a professional level, decided to embark on a coaching career at a very early age. He began his journey in Belgium, working with Lierse and Beershot, before making the move to France with Reims. There, he initially served as an assistant to Spaniard Oscar Garcia in 2021, and then stepped up as head coach in October 2022, a role he occupied until 2024.
He subsequently signed a three-year deal with Lens, but departed the Artois-based club after just one season, ending his tenure in 2024-2025 to be with his unwell partner in England.
He joined Southampton at the beginning of the previous season, but was let go as early as 2 November, following the 13th round of the Championship.
