UEFA imposes lifetime prohibition on Czech womens coach for secretly recording female players
Media outlets in Czechia indicated that the coach faced conviction in May 2025 and first got a suspended prison sentence lasting one year together with a ban on domestic coaching for five years because he filmed players from FC Slovacko inside changing rooms with the youngest player aged 17.
UEFAs Control Ethics and Disciplinary Body known as CEDB stated in their announcement that they chose to prohibit Vlachovsky from all football related activities permanently after naming an Ethics and Disciplinary Inspector to probe possible misconduct claims.
The CEDB also chose to ask FIFA to make the above mentioned prohibition apply everywhere in the world and to instruct the Football Association of the Czech Republic to cancel Mr Petr Vlachovskys coaching licence the statement continued.
FC Slovacko offered no quick reply to an emailed question seeking input.
The football players union FIFPRO approved the prohibition along with UEFAs call for FIFA the world soccer authority to apply a global prohibition against Vlachovsky.
This result sends a clear and essential signal that harmful and unsuitable conduct must never exist in football and that protecting players welfare should always be a top concern throughout the sport FIFPRO continued in their announcement.
Vlachovsky had formerly worked as coach for the Czech womens Under 19s team.
