Two PSL Promotion Play-Offs teams confirmed after Motsepe Foundation Championship final round

Cape Town City defeated Leicesterford City four goals to two at Dobsonville Stadium in a match that included four penalties with two for each team. Milford ended with a nil nil draw versus Hungry Lions in a fixture held in Upington.

The Mother City club concluded in second spot on the log after automatically promoted Kruger United while Milford sit third.

They shall meet the team finishing fifteenth in the Betway Premiership to secure a place in the elite league for the forthcoming campaign. These matches occur between 26 May and 13 June.

City aim for an immediate return to the top division whereas Milford seek a first time appearance there.

City host Milford for the initial play off match before heading to face the fifteenth placed Betway Premiership side on 30 May.

The series ends with Milford against the team in second last position in the Betway Premiership.

City and Milford met twice during the season with the KwaZulu Natal outfit winning one nil at home and the return fixture finishing two all in Cape Town.

Baroka FC and Black Leopards had already been demoted prior to the concluding round of fixtures on Sunday.
