Serie A title holders Inter Milan secure easy triumph against 10-player Lazio

The two managers opted for altered lineups ahead of Wednesdays Coppa Italia final, but Inter promptly resumed their title festivities following the Scudetto conquest on Sunday.

They needed only six minutes to go ahead, with Marcus Thuram nodding down Yann Bissecks extended throw in and Martinez slotting it away precisely in merely his third outing since February.

Right after having his own long range effort collected, Carlos Augusto cleared brilliantly to block Gustav Isaksens shot on target and quash any Lazio momentum. The Dane persisted yet fired one astray and watched another tipped away.

This hinted at some progress for the home side, yet their goal woes persisted as Noslins try was diverted for a corner. That worsened when Henrikh Mkhitaryan carved out room to net Inters third in the 76th minute.

This showed Inter remain relentless post title success, as the Nerazzurri stretched their unbeaten streak over all tournaments to nine ahead of the Coppa Italia decider. Lazio might draw positives from their latest results entering that clash, marking only their second loss in 11 fixtures.
