Another significant subject in the same interview was Nico Paz, a standout performer at Como over the last two seasons. The club could bring him back for nine million euros, but Perez was less definitive about his potential return.

"Nico Paz is one of those exceptional players who emerged from our youth system and is now one of the top European talents that clubs are competing for."
