Presidential hopeful Riquelme vows to bring Haaland and Rodri to Real if he wins

Riquelme appeared on Spanish television holding a Real Madrid shirt with Haaland's name and the number nine on it.

The candidate for the presidency also declared he would go for Spain international Rodri, who has one year left on his contract with Manchester City.

"Rodri plays in a position where Real Madrid need reinforcement and he suits the requirements. If I become president, he will wear the Real Madrid shirt," Riquelme told Antena 3.

"With Rodri, he is still contracted and we have to respect Manchester City. We would sit down for talks with the club and his agents as soon as next Monday," added the entrepreneur in renewable energy.

"As for Haaland, that is a different matter. He has a release clause and would want to join Real Madrid," Riquelme said.
