Pedro Porro signs new long-term deal to stay at Tottenham until 2031

Porro, 26, was arguably Tottenham’s finest performer throughout a demanding 2025/26 campaign, playing a crucial role as they successfully avoided relegation from the Premier League.

The north London club have now announced that the right-back has committed his long-term future to the team, signing a fresh contract until 2031 with an option for an additional year.

The defender has made 152 appearances in all competitions since joining from Sporting in January 2023.

Speaking to the club’s website, manager Roberto De Zerbi highlighted his value to the team, stating: “Pedro is a very important player for us, who has consistently demonstrated his ability to influence matches in both defensive and attacking phases.

“Alongside his technical ability, I also admire his mindset. Every day he wants to work, to learn and to improve, and these are the qualities that help players reach the highest level.

“He understands the game in a very intelligent manner, and brings energy, intensity and character to the squad.

“This new contract is excellent news for everyone at the Club. We believe in Pedro, and I am excited to continue working with him and helping him achieve even more in the years ahead.”
