Man Utd midfielder Kobbie Mainoo signs new five-year contract
The 20 year old earned a recall to Thomas Tuchels England team last month following his strong form under temporary boss Michael Carrick from the beginning of this year, allowing him to shine once more.
Mainoo previously earned £25000 a week but reports suggest he will now receive around £120000 weekly.
Carricks side has featured the player in 12 of 13 matches, with him absent for only 14 minutes total in those games, as he reintegrates following his exclusion under ex coach Ruben Amorim.
Officials announced on Thursday that the young star inked the deal while sharing his goals, particularly with the team close to securing a Champions League spot.
Manchester United remains my lifelong home. This remarkable team holds immense value for my family.
I grew up witnessing how our organisation influences the local area. I embrace the duty of donning this jersey.
My path has spanned from The Cliff and Littleton Road through Carrington to the iconic Old Trafford. The experience to date proves unforgettable. Each day I cherish pursuing my passion, driven by the unyielding ambition that sparked at my initial practice aged six.
The club buzzes with growing energy. I intend to contribute fully towards enabling Manchester United to contend consistently for top honours moving forward.
The international star finalised talks with executives over recent months. Supporters welcome this agreement, especially after Harry Maguires recent one year renewal.
