Man Utd captain Bruno Fernandes named the Premier League Player of the Season

Fernandes matched the league record of 20 assists this season while also netting eight goals as United secured a third place finish and Champions League qualification.

The Portuguese star was among the nominees alongside Arsenal's Gabriel, David Raya and Declan Rice, Manchester City's Erling Haaland and Antoine Semenyo, Nottingham Forest's Morgan Gibbs White and Brentford's Igor Thiago.

Fernandes stood out as the Premier League's top playmaker, setting up 132 chances, more than any other player. Liverpool's Dominik Szoboszlai came second with 89 chances created.
