Lens Name Dino Toppmoller as Their New Manager, Succeeding Pierre Sage

Toppmoller will lead the club after a successful spell with Eintracht Frankfurt from 2023 to 2026.

Under Sage, the club won their first Coupe de France and secured Champions League qualification for only the fourth time in Lens' history.

Lens ended last season in second place, six points behind Paris Saint-Germain. Toppmoller now aims to build on that progress in the forthcoming season.

"My approach to the game is about achieving the right balance between technical ability and high energy, and I am confident it will be a good fit for our side," Toppmoller said.

"I have a passion for intense football. Lens were already the most intense team in the league last season. I also love attacking football – I was the same as a player. But the most important thing is the willingness to give everything for this shirt."
