Henry Calls on Arsenal to Bolster Squad This Summer as Rivals Seek to 'Destroy' Them

Arsenal finally secured their first Premier League title in 22 years back in May, though they were defeated in the Champions League final by Paris Saint-Germain.

It is broadly anticipated that Arsenal will have a hectic summer as they aim to usher in an era of dominance under Mikel Arteta.

Speaking about his feelings on the current crop, Henry said to Betway: "I stated at the beginning of the season that for the first time I could envision us winning the league, and I did not hesitate when I insisted we had to win it.

Previously, there was an element lacking, but this year they achieved it. How? Through time, proper investment, and finally I can connect with the team. There is something there, the fighting spirit and the key moments, that you can identify with."

However, Henry believes the hard work is only just beginning, highlighting the challenge of remaining at the summit.

"Now you must build on it. It is crucial to assess what you need to incorporate to stay competitive," he said.

"It is also a different matter when everyone wants to dismantle you and everyone wants to strip you of that title. If you do not start well, people will question the same issues throughout the entire season again."

"Adapting and evolving at the top is essential," Henry added.

"This is a pivotal year because you need to know who will arrive, who must depart, and you need to make the correct decisions.

We have witnessed teams who believed that incoming players would improve them, but it takes time to adapt to the Premier League.

So what will Arsenal do? Securing someone who can adapt immediately to the Premier League and have an immediate impact in a team that has just won the league is not always straightforward."
