Feyenoord close out season with comfortable win over PEC Zwolle
Feyenoord manager Robin van Persie gave Raheem Sterling his first starting appearance since April 5th while Shaqueel van Persie Robins son came back to the squad for the game.
The encounter saw PEC Zwolle already safe and Feyenoord assured of second place but the home team started strongly with Tobias van den Elshout and Luciano Valente testing Duke Verduijn.
Casper Tengstedt nearly scored for the visitors though Koen Kostons had the best chance but he was denied by Timon Wellenreuther in a one on one.
Following a one sided first half Anis Hadj Moussa opened the scoring ten minutes from time.
The Algerian repeated the feat soon after doubling the lead in the final moments via a shot that hit the post.
Feyenoord finished with a two nil win and will enjoy their break knowing they are in the League Phase of next seasons UEFA Champions League.
