Bruno Guimaraes claims Newcastle Player of the Year honour for 2025/26

The club captain receives the honour for the first time after a season of important goals and key performances.

Guimaraes ended as the Magpies top Premier League scorer with nine goals and also led the side with eight assists.

Even after missing 15 matches due to injury the South American produced several decisive moments including a late winner versus Fulham and goals versus Tottenham Hotspur Burnley Crystal Palace and Leeds.

His seventeen goal involvements match his best ever tally from the 2023/24 season.

Guimaraes now stands with Dan Burn Anthony Gordon Kieran Trippier and Joelinton among recent winners of this notable Newcastle United award.
