Atleti defender Ruggeri accused of paying for racist and sexual voice messages

The ex-Atalanta full-back has reportedly paid €150 for various messages from a woman on Instagram in what is an evolving scandal for the 23-year-old.

As per Atletico Universe on X, Ruggeri "made requests for blasphemous phrases, racist statements, and insults directed at God" in what is a bizarre situation for the Atletico star, who has been linked with a Roma move this summer.

The Italian also reportedly asked the woman: "Does it bother you if I touch myself while listening to your audios?"

As well as: "Tell me that you insult black people too and that you're racist."

The post also insists: "GET HIM OUT OF THE CLUB" as fans reacted to the strange news in the comments, a situation that could see him leave the side if it is proven to be true.

Screenshots and videos circulating online appear to support the claims, and fans could be witnessing Ruggeri’s career collapse in real time as supporters wait to hear his response.

Reports this month claimed that Roma have once again come forward and offered Ruggeri the opportunity to reunite with manager Gian Piero Gasperini, but after such a scandal, such a move may not be impossible.
