The Uganda Premier League, previously known as the Uganda Super League, is the highest level of the Ugandan football system. It was established in 1968 and is governed by the Federation of Uganda Football Associations.
It is contested by 16 teams and operates on a relegation and promotion system with the Ugandan Big League. The league is run alongside the Ugandan Cup and the Super 8.
