Hajdelberg Junajted planira žalbu nakon odbijenice za učešće u AFC Ligi šampiona 2

Pobednik Australijskog kupa obično dobija priliku da nastupi u azijskom drugom rangu takmičenja Liga šampiona 2 pod uslovom da ispunjava sve zahteve AFC licenciranja koji uključuju finansije upravljanje i standarde za domaći stadion.

Furthermore there appears to be some ambiguity relating to Article 7.4 of the AFC Club Competitions Entry Regulations.

It does not suggest that in the event that the winner of the Cup competition is unable to fulfil its position because it has qualified by winning the league that that position will be filled by a team from the domestic league and not by the team that earnt the right to be in the final.

Accordingly the club reserves its right to appeal the decision and has written to Football Australia requesting them to outline the Appeals Process. We will be appealing and evaluating all our options.

Pozitivna strana za budućnost poluprofesionalnog fudbala u Australiji je činjenica da je Hajdelberg uspehom u ispunjavanju svih drugih zahteva licenciranja otvorio vrata NPL klubovima da se kvalifikuju za Aziju preko titule u Australijskom kupu pod uslovom da ispune obavezne vanterenske kriterijume.
