Could title-winning coach Ouaddou be on his way out of Orlando Pirates?

Pirates were crowned league champions for the first time in 14 years on Saturday when they defeated Orbit College 2-0 at Mbombela Stadium, simultaneously condemning their opponents to relegation.

This marks a significant achievement for Moroccan coach Ouaddou, though he has hinted at a potential departure from the club.

"I operate with passion and dedication, managing a team as prestigious as Orlando Pirates is no easy feat. This season has been gruelling, leaving me utterly exhausted," he admitted.

"I will take time to reflect and consult with the club's leadership. Fatigue has set in. Discussions regarding next season and potential developments will follow.

"I require renewed vigour to continue. Without it, proceeding would prove challenging. Emotions are high after a demanding season filled with relentless pressure."

He celebrated ending Pirates' lengthy title drought, pipping seemingly unbeatable Mamelodi Sundowns by a solitary point.

"Their supporters have waited patiently for 14 years, an eternity in football. Today's victory belongs to the players who made this dream a reality," he remarked.

"My thoughts are with Pirates fans nationwide. Their unwavering support throughout this arduous campaign has been incredible. Credit must go to both the squad and the club.

"Personally, I'm delighted to bring happiness to millions today. They've earned this moment through years of loyalty."

The club also secured both the MTN8 and Carling Knockout trophies this term.
