The top clash in Aarhus was one of the most watched matches in Danish Superliga history

On average, 330,000 viewers watched on TV, while it peaked at 432,000 viewers according to rightsholder Viaplay.

Sunday's golden showdown is the most-watched Superliga match in at least the past 30 years, in which neither FC Copenhagen nor Brondby has participated. 

For Viaplay is their most-watched Superliga match since Brondby lost the gold medals against AGF in May 2024 at Brondby Stadium.

"These are absolutely crazy numbers that we are extremely proud of. The race for gold in Danish football is really something that captures the Danes. We are happy that we, as rights holders, can help break viewership records.
