Barcelona's Putellas named Women's Champions League Player of the Season

Playing in her sixth consecutive final for the Catalan team, the 32-year-old was the foundation of a Barcelona squad that netted four goals in the second half to overcome Lyon, the tournament's most decorated club with eight trophies.

"The midfielder's tally of 14 goal involvements surpassed all others, with seven goals and seven assists during Barcelona's triumphant run, ending in a 4-0 victory over Lyon in the final," stated the technical panel in their reasoning.
