Storia, formato, organizzazione, copertura mediatica
La Seconda Divisione del Qatar, nota anche come QSD o Second Division League, è il secondo livello del sistema calcistico in Qatar. Composta da 8 squadre, funziona con un sistema di promozione e retrocessione con la Qatar Stars League (QSL), la massima serie calcistica del paese. Le stagioni della QSD si svolgono da settembre ad aprile. La prima stagione del campionato si è disputata nel 1979 e fu vinta dall'Al-Ittihad.
