Jens Berthel Askou leaves Motherwell to become Toulouse's new manager

Askou steered Motherwell to fourth place in the Scottish Premiership and now joins Toulouse on an undisclosed length contract.

The former centre-back has previously managed in Denmark and the Faroe Islands, where he secured a league and cup double with HB Tórshavn in 2020.

He has also served as an assistant at Sparta Prague in the Czech Republic and FC Copenhagen in Denmark, as well as head coach of IFK Göteborg in Sweden.

Toulouse finished 10th in Ligue 1's 2025-2026 season, which concluded last weekend.
