Wolves loan Zimbabwean Munetsi to Paris FC

Paris FC, a team in French Ligue 1, revealed on Friday that Marshall Munetsi, the Zimbabwean international midfielder, has arrived on a loan deal lasting six months from Wolves.

This 29-year-old player, who previously played for Reims in France for six years from 2019 to 2025, moved to Wolves during the most recent winter transfer period.

During the current season, he has featured in 13 Premier League matches, including a goal in a 3-2 loss against Burnley.

Paris FC coach Stephane Gilli commented, "He represents a type of player we lacked, one with impressive physical strength and the ability to run the full length of the pitch as a midfielder."

"He can perform various functions in the middle of the park and has occasionally filled in as a centre-back."

At present, Paris FC sit in 15th position in Ligue 1, holding a two-point buffer over the spot for relegation playoffs.

Gilli continued, "He will add greater presence and physicality to our squad."

"He possesses strong leadership traits. Although he might not be the loudest voice in the locker room or during sessions, on the pitch he delivers vital drive."

The player from Zimbabwe becomes the second addition for the recently promoted club this winter, following the loan arrival of Italian youth international Luca Koleosho from Burnley.
