Tottenham's woes no simple solution for beleaguered Frank
Tottenham manager Thomas Frank stated that his team's challenges lack an easy remedy, yet he continues to enjoy the backing of the board.
Following an encouraging beginning to the Danish coach's time in charge, Tottenham have dropped to 11th position in the Premier League and suffered a heavy 3-0 defeat against Nottingham Forest in their latest match.
The upcoming clash with Liverpool in north London this Saturday might not carry the same dread as it did a year earlier, when the Reds secured a convincing 6-3 victory en route to claiming the championship.
However, Spurs have managed only a single home league victory since the season's first matchday.
"To the Tottenham supporters, I would emphasise that it is an honour to belong to this remarkable club brimming with great promise. Our aim is to realise that potential. I am dedicating myself around the clock to ensure we address all aspects properly," Frank commented.
"Top sides develop a resilience that helps them bounce back from difficulties. We are focusing intensely on that quality. It cannot be achieved overnight."
Changes in management have frequently marked Tottenham's pursuit of achievements in the past few years.
Even lifting the club's first silverware in 17 years failed to protect Ange Postecoglou from dismissal at the close of the previous campaign.
Voices among the Tottenham faithful have begun advocating for Frank's departure, but he insisted that reversing their slide demands collective endeavour.
"I sense the support. It has been consistent throughout. My outlook remains unchanged. We are in the process of construction. As I have repeated often, I hold myself to the highest standards of critique, yet numerous individuals must step up their game," Frank continued.
"I am entirely at ease and assured that we will resolve this, but it extends beyond just myself. When this club emerges victorious, it will be thanks to a team of dedicated professionals collaborating seamlessly over time."
