Thomas Partey of Villarreal denies two extra rape allegations

Thomas Partey, the Ghanaian international footballer, had already pleaded not guilty to five rape counts involving two women, along with a sexual assault accusation against a third woman, from 2021 to 2022.

The 32 year old midfielder then faced two more rape charges linked to a fourth woman in December 2020, entering a not guilty plea at Southwark Crown Court.

These supposed incidents occurred during Parteys time at Premier League team Arsenal. He moved on from the club last summer to join the Spanish outfit Villarreal.

Partey remains on bail while awaiting trial, set to begin in November though it might get pushed back.

Arsenal acquired Partey from Atletico Madrid for 50 million euros (58.49 million dollars) in 2020, where he grew into an essential part of the English clubs starting lineup, until his deal ran out at the close of June.
