Szoboszlai cautions that clock is ticking for Liverpool in Champions League pursuit

Dominik Szoboszlai feels that Liverpool are short on time in their push for Champions League spots following another instance of losing points right at the end of a game.

The Hungarian skipper explained that he gets why plenty of supporters headed out of Anfield prematurely, with some even exiting prior to Richarlison's 90th minute strike that rescued a 1-1 Premier League stalemate for beleaguered Tottenham on Sunday, yet he encouraged them to support Arne Slot's team.

A fair number of those who stayed booed at the whistle after the current Premier League title holders Liverpool squandered an opportunity to overtake Aston Villa for fourth position.
