Sirius Maintain Six Point Lead with Thrilling Comeback Over Kalmar While Degerfors Secure Draw Against Hacken

Sirius 3-2 Kalmar

Sirius hold a six point advantage for now following an exciting win on home turf, recovering from Mondays draw versus Hacken, their sole loss of points thus far in 2026.

Victory seemed distant for much of the match this afternoon, with Kalmar riding momentum from their initial success of the season, taking the lead in the 38th minute via a precise cross from Charles Sagoe Jr headed in by Charlie Rosenqvist. Right before the break, Sagoe Jr impressed once more, passing the ball for Rony Jansson to shoot into the bottom corner.

Yet the promoted team could not maintain their advantage. Sirius clawed back in the 64th minute when Victor Svensson controlled Marcus Lindbergs cross and struck accurately from a narrow position, levelling things ten minutes later after Rosenqvist fouled Victor Ekstrom in the penalty area, allowing Isak Bjerkebo to convert from the spot.

The Uppsala outfit shattered Kalmar in the 91st minute as a lengthy pass ahead was headed by Joakim Persson to Odera Samuel Adindu, who netted his debut goal of the season shortly after entering the pitch.

Sirius will hold at least a three point edge by rounds end, whereas Kalmar stay on four points, positioned just above the relegation zone.

Degerfors 1-1 Hacken

Runners up Hacken remain undefeated after six games, though they are earning a label as draw experts following their tie with Degerfors, marking their fourth draw of the campaign and third consecutive.

A reckless tackle by Nasiru Moro on Adrian Svanback resulted in a penalty for the away side, which Silas Andersen dispatched to put Getingarna ahead in the 19th minute.

They kept that edge until the last 20 minutes, when a deep corner from Degerfors was redirected by Daniel Sundgren to Arman Taranis, who displayed fine poise to bend the ball into the top corner. This lifts Degerfors to sixth place temporarily, now without a loss in three outings.
