The Danish firm behind construction toys, LEGO, has unveiled a model of the World Cup trophy, building on its kit with 1,498 pieces by adding four small LEGO figures depicting Ronaldo, Messi, Vinicius, and Mbappe. In the promotional video, these players attempt to position the tiny versions of themselves on the LEGO recreation of the FIFA World Cup trophy.

As the 2026 FIFA World Cup draws near and enthusiasm for football reaches new heights, supporters can now assemble their favourite athletes using an exciting new collection of LEGO Editions kits that spotlight these four icons.

For the first time, these four football stars take shape as LEGO minifigures in dedicated sets that honour their individual careers and unique traits, complete with concealed nods for avid enthusiasts to uncover.

In a press statement, Ronaldo remarked: “It’s not every day you get to be transformed into a LEGO set! I’m incredibly honoured to be part of this new lineup of LEGO Editions, alongside three other incredible players in the sport.

"I’m looking forward to seeing fans from all over the world discover my story and sporting heritage by building this LEGO set, blending football and creativity."
