Barca and Chelsea both sit on seven points following four fixtures in this years Champions League, as they aim for straight entry into the knockout stage, which demands a position in the top eight.
Flicks preparations will get a boost from Raphinhas recovery from injury, with the player featuring for the first time in nearly two months off the bench in Saturdays success.
"Gradually with Raphinha," Flick noted. "For me, the key point is his return. Regarding the playing time and how much he will feature, we will determine that.
"He has suffered the identical injury on two occasions, and that is unfortunate at this point, so we shall proceed cautiously.
"I am delighted that he is back, as right away when he entered on Saturday, the impact was clear. The energy, he opened up areas, and I am thrilled to have him available."
