Nicknamed the Buccaneers, Orlando Pirates have scored 16 goals across their past four matches, averaging four per encounter, which has elevated their seasonal total to 50 in 25 outings.

This positions them merely two goals away from the club record for a 30-match season, achieved with 52 goals during the 2004/05 term, although they placed second in the standings that year.

Furthermore, it maintains their trajectory to surpass the overall record, established by Mamelodi Sundowns in the previous campaign with 59 goals over a reduced 28-match schedule owing to Royal AMs withdrawal. Should Pirates sustain their present pace, they could reach 60 goals.

The highest tally Pirates have recorded in a Betway Premiership season stands at 72 goals from 34 games in 1999/2000, yet they ended up as runners-up that season, trailing champions Sundowns by 11 points.
