Monaco dismiss manager Sebastien Pocognoli after failing to secure Champions League qualification
The former Belgium international took over at Monaco in October, moving from Union Saint-Gilloise after Adi Hutter's departure.
AS Monaco announced the conclusion of its collaboration with Sebastien Pocognoli at the end of the 2025-2026 season, the club said in a statement on Monday.
The club thanked Pocognoli and his staff for their dedication and wished them well for the future.
Monaco were in fifth place when Pocognoli took over, but despite an unbeaten run of ten matches, they ultimately finished seventh.
Pocognoli also led Monaco to the Champions League knockout phase play-offs, where they were eliminated by the eventual champions, Paris Saint-Germain.
