Manchester City to face Southampton in FA Cup semi-finals, Chelsea drawn with Leeds
Leeds appeared comfortable with a 2-0 lead as injury time approached in their Sunday quarter-final, only to be stunned by two late goals from West Ham that led to extra time. Yet they stayed composed and triumphed in the penalty shootout, securing a semi-final clash against Premier League opponents Chelsea.
Southampton earned their spot by defeating top-of-the-table Arsenal, and now they will meet Manchester City in the semi-finals after Citys impressive 4-0 victory over Liverpool in Saturdays quarter-final.
These matches are scheduled at Wembley on 25 and 26 April.
"Its always going to be a difficult match against Chelsea," Dominic Calvert-Lewin said to TNT Sports following the draw.
"Theyre a good side, but its the FA Cup, were going to Wembley. Excited. Ive never had the opportunity to play at Wembley for club before, so for me it was a big chance today.
"When it went to 2-2, I thought maybe its not meant to be, but thankfully, we stuck in there and got the win."
