Major setback for Midtjylland in title pursuit with star forwards facing long term absence

FC Midtjylland have lacked Philip Billing's contribution over the past few weeks due to Achilles tendon troubles.

The 29 year old midfielder remains sidelined for the near future, according to Mike Tullberg.

Junior Brumado faces a similar situation with his own injury keeping him out of the recent fixture against Sonderjyske.

"It is definitely a possibility that they will be out for the rest of the season. I am neither a doctor nor a physiotherapist, but as long as we do not announce anything actively, it is because they are not available."

"Then we'll see if our doctors can work some magic, but right now it doesn't look like they're available", the head coach added.

With seven fixtures remaining in the Danish Superliga, FC Midtjylland sit seven points adrift of table toppers AGF.
