Juventus wrap up difficult week with 2-0 defeat to Como

Juventus missed out on a chance to secure a spot in the Champions League positions in Serie A after suffering a 2-0 home loss to Como on Saturday.

Success in this match would have pushed Juve ahead of Napoli who sit in fourth place, yet following their 5-2 hammering by Galatasaray in the midweek Champions League playoff opener, they struggled against Como's determination, allowing the visitors to close the gap and sit just one point adrift in sixth.

Como, fresh from a draw against AC Milan on Wednesday, took the lead as early as the 11th minute after Juventus lost possession in the middle of the park.
