Fulham secure deal for Manchester City forward Oscar Bobb
Fulham have acquired Norwegian forward Oscar Bobb from Manchester City in a deal valued at around £27 million, equivalent to $37 million, completed on Friday.
The 22 year old player has agreed to a contract lasting five and a half years with Marco Silva's team, featuring an alleged 20 per cent sell on provision.
Having progressed through Manchester City's academy system, Bobb found his status diminishing at the Etihad following the January signing of Ghanaian striker Antoine Semenyo from Bournemouth.
"It feels great to be here. I had a great day meeting everyone and I am very excited," Bobb shared with FFCtv.
"I have always known Fulham to be a good club, with good players and a great stadium."
Prior to transferring to Craven Cottage, Bobb consulted his Norwegian colleague Sander Berge for advice.
"I spoke to Sander, my good friend, and I spoke to the manager and he explained what the system's like and how the lads are and how the club is. He (Silva) seemed lovely, so it was an easy decision basically," he added.
Fulham currently sit in seventh position in the Premier League, with a trip to Manchester United scheduled for Sunday.
