England Set to Play New Zealand and Costa Rica in Warm-Up Matches Before World Cup

The England team is scheduled to play against New Zealand and Costa Rica in friendly matches in Florida as part of their last preparations for the June World Cup.

Under Thomas Tuchel's guidance, the squad will meet New Zealand on 6 June, followed by a match against Costa Rica just four days afterwards.

The exact locations for these games have not been finalised yet, but they are expected to occur in Tampa, Miami, or Orlando, helping the players get used to the anticipated hot weather.

Following these friendlies, England will travel to Kansas City and stay at the Soccer Swope Village throughout the tournament.

This city in Missouri was chosen by the English Football Association as their base, even though two group stage fixtures and possibly some knockout rounds will be held on the US east coast.

England's campaign for their first major title since 1966 starts with a game versus Croatia in Dallas on 17 June.

The fourth-ranked team globally will then play Ghana in Boston and Panama in New Jersey.

Having qualified impeccably with eight victories in eight matches and no goals conceded, England will host Uruguay and Japan for friendly encounters next month.
