Denmark scheduled to meet World Cup qualifier on Belgian ground for summer match

The Denmark mens national soccer side is set to play Ukraine in Odense and World Cup entrant DR Congo in Belgium during a pair of warm up games in June. The Danish Football Association DBU shared this update on their site on Thursday night.

Denmark is due to take on DR Congo in Liege Belgium on 3 June with Ukraine ready to meet them in Odense just four days after.

We are working on integrating fresh talent for the Nations League and the 2028 European Championships following a significant shift in the squad lineup. The group must compete in additional fixtures to build cohesion.

We achieve this most effectively by challenging strong rivals as we anticipate in these encounters and we hope the bulk of our squad will be fit states Brian Riemer on the associations page.

Denmark did not secure a spot in this summers World Cup tournament in the USA Canada and Mexico.
