Crystal Palace eyeing potential summer transfer for Bournemouth's Iraola

Following Athletic Clubs intensified chase for the Spanish coach, Crystal Palace has joined the fray by showing keen interest in Iraola, according to sources suggesting he could depart the team.

The Eagles plan to separate from Glasner once the season concludes, and with Iraolas deal running out at the same time, it creates a chance for him to head to South London.

Iraola commented on the speculation following the 2-2 stalemate against Manchester United, stating he is satisfied with his current role.

"No, it doesn't have anything to do with me," Iraola told reporters. "Probably as a supporter because it is my club, but no, it doesn't affect the situation.

"I've said it a lot of times I'm very happy here. I have a great relationship with the club and it's true that we will have to take a decision according to this, but it's a situation I have had most of my years as manager. It is not new to me."

The Telegraph indicates that after Athletic Clubs advances, Palace is pondering an unexpected bid that would involve a uncommon shift between two Premier League clubs.

In almost three years, Iraola has secured 37 victories from 107 English league games, with his squad netting 158 goals while letting in 161.

Bournemouth sits higher than Palace in the table as they push for European qualification in the remaining seven fixtures, after which Iraola needs to weigh his options amid rising attention from other teams.
